WHEN IS THE NEW MUSIC AWARDS SHOW?

The 2007 NEW MUSIC AWARDS show®, “New Music's Biggest Night,” is Saturday,  November 10, 2006, 4:00pm in Hollywood, California at the Avalon Theater. New Music Awards is a production of the Backstage-Heartland Entertainment.

WHO IS SCHEDULED TO APPEAR?

Artists will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event. By registering for a media credential to New Music Awards, your e-mail address will be added to our Press Release e-mail list. You will receive periodic press releases with information on activities and artists appearing at New Music Awards. You can also check out www.newmusicweekly.com breaking news (syndicated by RSS feed) for the latest updates.

WHAT DOES A MEDIA CREDENTIAL ENTITLE ME TO?

Media credentials give the wearer access to official New Music Awards pre-awards media activities including entrance to the New Music Awards pre-awards VIP meet and greet at the venue.

Please note: The name on your media credential must match the name on your photo ID , as a security precaution.

I'M A RADIO STATION EMPLOYEE. CAN I GET A MEDIA CREDENTIAL?

Radio stations that are organizational members of New Music Weekly magazine may obtain up to two (2) media credentials per station while supplies last to be used by their employees to cover New Music Awards. These tickets will only be give to radio stations who will be programming the awards "live" from the venue. These media credentials cannot be used as giveaways of any type.

Non-member radio stations are not eligible for media credentials.

ARE THERE OTHER ACTIVITIES WHERE I WOULD NEED ADDITIONAL CREDENTIALS?

There are many activities around New Music Awards show's official schedule that would require different credentials. A partial list includes:

• Post-New Music Awards celebration hosted by the producers Paul Loggins & Larry Weir (Hollywood, CA)
• Industry Pre-New Music Awards event parties at surrounding venues in preceding days to the "main event".

ACCOMMODATIONS

There are a number of hotels and motels in and around Hollywood  that you can contact to make your arrangements. New Music Weekly has partnered with several hotels offering attendees discounted rates for hotel suites. Additional information can be found at www.newmusicweekly.com. Be sure to mention that you are with the New Music Awards.  We encourage you to make your reservations soon, as these rooms will book up quickly in the weeks leading up to New Music Awards. The New Music Weekly communication department cannot make hotel reservations or calls for you.
